What is the strangest place you’ve played your instrument?

Well, back in the eighties in the era when Graham “the sweater” Kendrick inspired the nation to “praise march” the streets using live bands and carnival balloons, I was strapped rather precariously onto the back of an open, flat bed lorry, trying my best to play ”Make Way” as we jolted along, whilst singing (screeching) through a very cheap, very bad PA system… wait for it… in the snow!!! Nobody ever answered my question; Whatever possessed the churches to arrange such an activity for January???

If you could be an animal for a day, what would it be and why?

I’ve never thought about this before… It would have to be a winged creature then I could experience the rush of flight, I think I’d head for the sea side and perch on a cliff side, and if I could make it, I’d fly down to the Canaries for the sunshine and scenery and Spanish food!!!

Which sweet / chocolate would you use to describe yourself?

I know this is going to sound cheesy, but, it would have to be something sublime and out of this world to sum me up, because I’d want it to reflect Gods complex, creative genius and pride He put into me and indeed all of us… We’re so intricately complicated: true masterpieces!

If they made a movie of your life, which actor would play you?

These questions are really hard!!! It would have to be a film character, cos we don’t know who the actors really are… Lara Croft I think cos she’s an adventurer and heroic and she’s motivated by her values and not influenced or controlled by anyone or anything else…

What article of clothing most closely describes your personality?

Apparently, I’m given to advocating the wearing of your favourite dressing gown in order to heal every medical ailment and heart ache??? I do so love wearing mine too!!! But as to reflecting my personality??? I’m not sure… Designer glasses! Cos I’ll help you see the world through God… Coloured spectacles like I do! It’s the best way a person can make good sense of and have a happy hope for the world.

Have you been told you look like someone famous? If so, who?

According to my kids… Orlando Bloom! (With the help of eye liner, a goatee and a bandana!) Lead singer of feeder? (According to Luke!) A techie for Fightstar at Greenbelt this year (according to John Bruce (Relentless Craving))
