Ok, so we might still be without a full time drummer (if you are one and think perhaps you’d be right for Rufus Garside then drop us a line and we’ll get in touch about auditions and all that jazz) but the new core is coming together nicely.
New Core? Yup.. Gill, Luke and I are still there, but now have the brilliant Rob Bane on bass, and after only a few practices things are coming together rather well (including a cover of Don’t Stop Believin’?! You’d better believe it! lol)
Anyway. 9th April is our next gig and we’ll be joined by the amazing Mr Joshua Potts as our Session Drummer for the evening. We’re just finalising the information about times and the like with the churches we’re working with, but I’ll post up the information so you can come and get your Rufus Garside fix if you’re free!
Leading up to that gig though will be an interesting time as I’m having all 4 of my Wisdom Teeth out on 29th March! EIK! I just hope my musical wisdom isn’t stored within them! On a serious note though, if you do pray, please keep me in yours for a speedy recovery not only for the gig, but just generally too as it’s going to be done under general anaesthetic which is always a fun thing for me.
Anyway, keep your ears pinned and your eyes open for further information!
Many blessings
Andy T
